Hello and happy TPT Tuesday!
This week we are featuring another item from our Artic Reps series. Artic Reps: ch, j by Worldwide Speech can be purchased individually or as a part of Artic Reps – Mega Bundle by Worldwide Speech or Artic Reps: Later Sounds Bundle by Worldwide Speech | TpT all for great prices!
What is it?
Today we are sharing another product from our Artic Reps Series. We’ve shown you our “r” Artic Reps (r-blends, vocalic/ r/, and prevocalic /r/. Now we want to branch out to other sounds! Let’s be real, there are far fewer products out there for /ch/ and /j/ than those for /r/ target sounds. It’s great to have this product in my “digital therapy bag” for a quick, fun, and easy activity that’s no-print, no-prep.
The /ch/ and /j/sounds can be tough but successfully achieved through repeated practice. Our Artic Reps Series takes that into account. We want you to get as many repetitions with as little prep work as possible. By the conclusion of the PowerPoint, the phoneme is targeted 58 times in each position!
Additionally, the characters in Artic Reps are diverse and often find themselves in silly situations. Also, various parts of speech are represented by the target words, rather than just nouns, as are typically seen in articulation therapy materials.
In this product, each target sound is represented by a main character (whose name includes that target), plus 9 target words. Each word is in the form of a colorful image that will “fly-in” from various directions, keeping children focused and engaged.
