#TPTTuesday: Multi-Use Language Activity

Today is TPT Tuesday and we’re talking about a new product that can be used for a variety of goals!

Multi-Use Materials for Language is a no-prep, no-print multi-use speech therapy activity. It’s engaging for students who are working on various language goals at the phrase and sentence level. Not to mention it’s for readers and non-readers alike! This language activity can be used for individual and group therapy, during in-person and telepractice sessions. The images in our Multi-Use Materials are fun, colorful, and sure to keep your student engaged.

This resource allows you to tailor your materials to meet a variety of goals, with only one purchase!

Upon downloading, you will find 10 slides with a variety of picture scenes that contain two characters and four objects. You may use these picture scenes to practice any of the following skills:

  1. Pronoun use
  2. Possessive “s”
  3. Verb + s present tense
  4. Irregular Past Tense
  5. Prepositions
  6. Following directions
  7. Descriptive language

At the conclusion of Multi-Use Materials students have practiced a variety of goals in ten picture scenes. If you’re targeting one skill set, you can expect about 20 reps! If you’re targeting more than one skill set, the possibilities are endless!

To use, open the PowerPoint in edit mode. At the beginning of the slide show, you will find a cheat sheet with prompts for different goals. You can use your mouse to drag objects to each character with a prompt for your student or provide your student with remote control access to follow directions.
